SPECCX is a marketplace where specialty crop farmers sell straight to buyers, with spot and forward contracts and no middleman taking the margin. The film moves between illustrated animation and live action of growers and buyers in the field, following the produce from the farm to stores and restaurants.
Vision
Make a new platform feel trustworthy to farmers who have always sold through someone else, by putting real growers on screen beside a simple explanation of how a sale works.
